As an African-American woman with three degrees in engineering and experience working at world-renowned research institutions, I understand first hand how it feels to be excluded from discussions and decisions on innovation, growth and disruption.
After transitioning from engineering research to small business finance, I realized that there is an even larger population without access to the resources, education and capital necessary to succeed with their business.
Startup Funding’s goal is to provide solutions to specifically address this issue. Our solutions include providing founders with advice directly from the decision makers and change agents of the community. My goal as the leader of Startup Funding is to help reduce the disparity that exists within the startup environment.
